Construction of tangents from external point.

•     Only two tangents can be drawn from an external point.
•     In the given applet O is the centre of the circle c and P is the external point. AP and BP are the tangents drawn from the external point P.

{In the given applet two sliders are there, slider DSTANCE for varying the distance of the point from the centre and slider RADIUS for varying the radius of the circle. Reader can change the distance of the point and radius of the circle by sweeping the sliders and reader can observe the steps of construction by using the three buttons START CONSTRUCTION, PAUSE COSTRUCTION and RESET. }

باہری نقطہ سے دائرہ   کو  مماس بنانا :

بیرونی نقطہ سے کسی بھی دائرہ کو صرف اور صرف دو مماس کھینچئے جا سکتے ہیں۔

دی گئی آپلیٹ میں  Pبیرونی نقطہ ہے۔ AP اور BP دائرہ C کو کھینچئے گئے مماس ہیں۔

]آپلیٹ  میں دو سلئیڈر دئے گئے ہیں ۔ سلئیڈر DISTANCE  کے آگے پیچھئے کئے جانے پر مرکز O سے نقطہ P  کا فاصلہ میں تبدیلی لائی جاسکتی ہے اور سلئیڈر RADIUS کی حرکت پر دائرہ کے نصف قطر میں تبدیلی کی جاسکتی ہے۔ اسی طرح عمل کے مراحل کے لئے 3 بٹنس ، START CONSTRUCTION،  PAUSE COSTRUCTION، RESET دئے گئے ہیں جس کے استعمال سے عمل کے مراحل کا مشاہدہ کیا جاسکتا ہے۔[
